Only a few people are blessed with Joni Mitchell’s lyrical genius, which made a name for her among folk-music audiences in Canada. Later she moved to the US and recorded her first record, ‘Joni Mitchell,’ but it was her album ‘Clouds’ that won her earliest Grammy award for best folk performance.
Still, Joni’s most well-known and commercially successful work was ‘Court and Spark,’ which saw her delve into jazz fusion with critical praise. Over the next four decades, she won seven Grammy awards, including one for lifetime achievement, and got herself inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
