Up until 2021, when Kamala Harris started serving as the Vice President of the United States, she and her husband, Doug Emhoff, were switching between their different houses around the States. In fact, according to the New York Post, around $8-million of their fortune is invested in real estate.
Of course, Kamala owns an apartment in Washington D.C., even though she won’t be living in it for the time being. She purchased it in 2017, around the same time she became a Senator. It’s merely a mile away from the White House and has a 1,700-square-foot interior with two bedrooms and a heated rooftop swimming pool.
