Every mascot wants to be the king or queen of their locality, so they’ll do everything possible to achieve that and reinforce it. Stepping up is the Phillie Phanatic against the unsuspecting poor sap in the pig mascot. He got pumped with hot dogs, falling to the ground in the process.
This happened on Dollar Dog Night, so it must have been ideal for the day. Luckily, the pig got up without any injuries, and the Phanatic never ended up in a cell. It’s our hope the cannon doesn’t fall into the wrong hands!
