A Sunken Nightmare
In April 2012, a mighty vessel named Endless Sea met a tragic end after setting sail toward Antarctica’s icy coast. The cause of the sinking was possibly a deadly combination of ice compression and powerful winds. Luckily, four of the crew members survived.
Ruslan Elisleev took this chilling photograph of the frozen wreck, a haunting image that captures the aftermath of the ship’s sinking, and hopefully, it doesn’t give the survivors PTSD. The sunken wreck eerily resembles a ghost ship.
