The Golden Age of Wrestling, Meet the Most Influential Pro Wrestlers of All-time

John “Bradshaw” Layfield (John Layfield) – Active 1992 to 2009

Good when it comes to words and wrestling moves, John “Bradshaw” Layfield, or JBL, is arguably the most hated wrestler in WWE’s history. Playing the part of the Texan bully, JBL became a wrestling commentator after retiring from the ring in 2009.

As disruptive outside the ring as he was inside of it, JBL’s entrepreneurial spirit eventually landed him a place as a financial commentator in Fox News and Fox Business. JBL continues to collaborate with WWE, and despite his unpopularity, he’s often deemed as one of the most influential wrestlers of all-time.
