An aggressive horse?
Ben was afraid of being attacked by his own horse. He hesitated, was this a good idea? Was there a possibility of her pursuing Ben? Ben and his horse could not make it out of that situation unscathed. Did they have any other option?
Ben’s vet told him that this was the only way to ensure the survival of both his horse and her foal. When Ben heard that, he made sure he approached Felicia calmly in order to not agitate her. To make sure Felicia’s experience was painless, he positioned himself in the right way when he was close.
