These Unforgettable Golden Age Stars Are Living The Best Life In Retirement

Caren Marsh-Doll – 102, That Night in Rio

Golden Age of Hollywood surviving actress Caren Marsh-Doll is one of those few celebrities that have tasted the fruit of a long, fulfilling life. Caren found success mainly as a dancer and choreographer, notably as Judy Garland’s dance replacement for ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and ‘Ziegfeld Girl,’ made possible by their similarity in height and build.

The centenarian earned acting credits featuring in hit films of the ’40s like ‘Hands Across the Border’ and ‘Best Foot Forward.’ Caren was meant to see her old age, having survived a plane crash in 1949. She now volunteers once a month at the Palm Springs Stroke Activity Center as a dance therapy instructor.
