Bobby Sherman – 79, Little Woman
Bobby Sherman had a brief but successful career in the entertainment industry. He was an object of fascination in the ’60s and early ’70s for female fans who adored him. His career began in 1962, and by 1964 he was signed by an agent and landed a part on the ABC show “Shindig!”
Sherman had several successful singles and albums, but his most notable song, “Little Woman,” sold millions of copies worldwide. He retired from performing in the late ’70s to focus on a career as an EMT, then joined the police force. Sherman officially retired from the force in 2010 and has since devoted time to his foundation.
