José Mayer is an actor who was born in Jaguaraçu, Minas Gerais. He has acted in various films like ‘Tieta’ and as a leading man in telenovelas. After being away from the limelight for three years due to problems with the law, Mayer doesn’t intend to act in long TV films but in a few short ones. He received the ‘Best Actor Award’ for ‘Perfume de Gardênia.’
The actor recently posted a photo on social media, smiling and looking strong from his home in Itaipava, Rio de Janeiro. In his 70s, José celebrated being a dad to Julia, the daughter, and, interestingly, to a tree he planted over 20 years ago!
