As he is fondly called, Billy Dee is best known for his role as Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars film franchise. Though the actor began his career as a singer in 1961, with the release of an album titled Let’s Misbehave, before moving on to acting, where fame spread across the country.
Billy is undoubtedly a man of many talents. While many people did not grow up watching him, the actor was introduced to the younger generation in The Rise of Skywalker, released in 2019, reprising his legendary role in the Star Wars franchise.
