We’re sure ‘Harry Potter’ fans would want to know how they turned Robbie Coltrane into the giant Rubeus Hagrid, but that is beside the point. We’ll give credit where it’s due because the star nailed that role as a gentle, lovable, and devoted half-giant. Actually, the author J.K Rowling himself asked Robbie to play that character.
Hagrid sure played a part in making Robbie the film star he is, and he also put his best foot forward in his subsequent projects, including two ‘James Bond’ movies, ‘Great Expectations,’ ‘Brave,’ and ‘National Treasure.’ Though he has slowed down a bit, Robbie is still active in the industry to date and continues to drop more gems.
