The club is now more than 40 years old, but it is hard to say how long it will continue to be run. The club was sold in 2004, with rumors of it closing in 2006, 2008 and again in 2009.
There is some talk that the club will be converted into a fashion institute or maybe even a boutique hotel. For now it is still open, although on a limited basis.
