No One Would Notice The Sea Creatures
Many tourists love their destinations because of the scenery, locals, and animals. Perhaps, this was why a passenger traveling from Miami thought about when they illegally brought along sea creatures on his way to Maracaibo, Venezuela, in 2012.
TSA officers confiscated 22 invertebrates, 24 live coral, 163 tropical marine fish, eight stony corals, eight soft corals, and 12 pond slider turtles, all placed in individual tiny plastic bags with water. Left with no choice, the traveler agreed to surrender the creatures to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
