TSA Agents’ Worst Nightmare
If you ask us what TSA agents’ worst fear is, that would have to be bomb threats. Officers spotting improvised explosive devices (IEDs) would be of utmost concern. One morning at Newark Liberty International Airport in 2018, authorities were forced to close six security lines, affecting hundreds of passengers.
The agents had to call bomb experts to verify the owner’s claims that it was a replica explosive device he had created for a security training event in Florida. He didn’t make it to the seminar even though it was confirmed that it was just a dummy.
