Maggie Goldennerger became a meme in 2012. Interestingly, this photo of her holding the “Goosebumps” books was taken in the ’90s. She posted with the caption, “Just a book owner’s smile…” and it subsequently became the “Ermahgerd” meme.
We won’t be surprised if “Ermahgerd” eventually makes it into the dictionary because of how popular the word is. In case you’re wondering, it is the hilarious version of “Oh my God.” Maggie now works as a nurse and no longer looks like her adolescent self.
