Move Over Horseshoes, The Scots Toss Trees

Scottish lumberjacks can be thanked for the creation of the caber toss. “Caber” comes from the Gaelic word cabar, which means wooden beam. Competitors, also called tossers, throw the 16-20 foot long, 90-150 pound log end over end.

Caber Toss requires expert technique and balance. The objective isn’t to throw the caber the farthest. Caber Toss is won by getting the highest score for throwing the caber the straightest.

Trampolines, inflatables, volleyball, and soccer combine for a great time, coming up next.
