Guard the Shin and Don’t Get Kicked to be Crowned the Winner
This shin-splitting game started back in England in 1615. Shin Kicking originated as a way for people to settle disputes, and it eventually transitioned into an event. It’s rumored people used to prepare for tournaments by hitting their shins with a hammer. Ouch.
During a match, players face each other, hold onto the collar of their opponent, and attempt to kick the other person’s shin. A referee awards points and the winner is crowned by the kicker who scores 6/10 against their opponent.
