Concussions are an Occupational Hazard for Professional Face Slappers
Professional face slapping faces much speculation in the sports world. The Russian sport has inspired a show called “Power Slap: Road to the Title.” The show follows a group of people gearing up to slap each other in the face as they compete to make it to the first title fight.
Experts argue it’s especially dangerous due to head injuries, and a Polish fighter suffered a brain bleed because of a match and subsequently died due to his injuries.
