World Gurning Championship: Ugly Faces Get Bragging Rights in England
One of the world’s oldest fairs, Egremont Crab Fair in England, holds the World Gurning Championship. Gurning means to pull a face, so the champion is determined by who can make the ugliest face.
There are men’s and women’s divisions, and three prizes are awarded to each division. Players must stick their heads through a horse’s collar and make the ugliest face possible. We all know someone who could win this whacky championship.
