Avril Lavigne’s days of punk-rocking are far from over. Rock ‘n’ roll still plays a very important part in the life of the 35-years-old singer, who’s been married to Chad Kroeger since 2015. Before, she was married to another American lead singer; Sum 41‘s rebellious band leader Deryck Whibley.
Her musical career has been as good as always, with Lavigne’s latest record, Head Above Water, marking the transition to a smoother, more acoustic-oriented sound. She also collaborated with the Canadian project Young Artists for Haiti, who released the song Wavin’ Flag to raise money for the victims of the dreadful 2010 Haitian earthquake disaster.
