Egypt’s 2018 World Cup journey was a tough one. It’s not easy to make it to the finals, and they’ve only done so three times. All they have to show for it are two draws and five losses. It’s not easy when you have to rely on one player, and in this case, it was Mohammad Salah.
He certainly gave it his all, being able to register two goals, but it wasn’t enough to get them a win. It’s no mean feat to put a whole team on your back, but sadly that’s what happened.
