A New Arrival
Although a car pulling up at the cemetery was nothing unusual, something about this didn’t feel right. Perhaps it was the cold morning fog or the visibly distressed couple she had just left by their son’s grave, but the supervisor had a gut feeling she’d better stay close enough to keep an eye on things.
Her instinct seemed right as a darkly dressed figure emerged from the vehicle and slowly began heading towards Peter and Mary in the distance. The couple had their backs to the new arrival, so the cemetery supervisor slowly began retracing her steps to keep close.
