Thriller cemented Michael Jackson’s spot in history as the King of Pop, and the album gave us some timeless hits like Beat It. The rock number released in 1983 includes a guitar solo by Van Halen guitarist Eddie Van Halen.
Van Halen apparently only got a case of beer in return, and he also didn’t want any credits for his work on the song. Van Halen also asked Jackson to teach him how to dance.
