Dennis Hopper In Easy Rider
The late Dennis Hopper established himself as a TV actor in 1954, and he made the transition to film. By 1969 he had gained extensive knowledge about the industry, and he tried his hand at directing Easy Rider.
Hopper also co-starred with Peter Fonda, and the two actors had teamed up with Terry Southern to pen the film. Hopper wasn’t easy to work with during production, running up expensive tabs, and drinking excessively. Through it all, he managed to deliver a critically acclaimed film.
