C-3PO Shielding Himself From The Desert Heat
Anthony Daniels suited up and played the part of C-3PO in Star Wars, later titled Episode IV: A New Hope. Daniels injured himself the very first time he wore the suit with the left leg piece injuring his foot after taking two steps.
It wasn’t the last of related injuries that came about from wearing the suit, but it didn’t prevent Daniel from reprising the role. The photo above shows C-3PO shielding himself from the sweltering desert heat in Tunisia, where most of the filming took place.
