Diver Finds Old Planes At Bottom Of Pacific, Then Understand Why They Were There

What She Found Out

The photographer/diver looked everywhere for any information about these long-forgotten aircraft. She eventually found out that after World WAR II, the American military used the Marshall Islands as a dumping ground. While this was known information, historians were never able to pinpoint the exact location of the sinking.

Mueller continued her research until she came across something called ‘Operation Rollup,’ which happened after the Second World War. This was the key to explaining the underwater graveyard that she had discovered. The dive instructor could finally breathe easy, knowing that the code was almost cracked!
