Gameplay Blunders: Top NBA Fails in History

Shot After Shot

Many athletes would lose hope after being undrafted by their favorite teams, but not John Starks. After playing for several community colleges and Oklahoma, he went through the CBA and into the New York Knicks starting lineup in the NBA.

John quickly became the Knicks’ second-leading scorer, but he did not know when to stop shooting. Due to sleep deprivation, he shot 2-18 in game 7 of the 1994 NBA finals, leading to his withdrawal at halftime and the Knicks losing the game.
