If missing a dunk is painful, Nate Robinson experienced that 23 times at the 2006 Dunk Contest. As if that was not enough, he missed his only attempt in 2008 when the rules didn’t allow infinite attempts.
Feeling LeBron James breathing down his neck, Nate rushed his dunk instead of dribbling to get closer. From too far out, he lost control of the ball, and it flew into the stands. His reaction told how angry he was at himself, and rightly so.
