Natalya Simonova – GoldenEye (1995)
There is one thing that stands out about Izabelle Scorupco’s performance as Natalya Simonova in 1995s Goldeneye. She didn’t come across anything like the nerdy computer programmer she was supposed to be playing. Then again, seeing as she was supposed to be a love interest for Bond, she had to have some appeal.
Scorupco never took advantage of her role in the Bond film, choosing instead to build her career in her homeland of Sweden. She released a certified gold album in the mid-’90s and also went on to host Sweden’s Next Top Model. Scorupco has held the lead role in a Swedish comedy called Micke and Veronica.
