It’s Hard To Forget These Biggest NFL Draft Busts
Brian Bosworth – Seattle Seahawks, 1987 Draft
The Seattle Seahawks had the chance to add to their roster via the supplemental pick in 1987, and they chose linebacker Brian Bosworth. Since the promising player was coming off an impressive college career in Oklahoma, they expected him to make a big splash in the pros.
In the end, various personal problems piled up and derailed what could have been a fruitful career for Brian with the Seahawks. He developed a dependence on body-enhancing medications, and in 1988 the athlete also suffered a career-ending shoulder injury even before proving his worth in the big league.
