Aaron Curry – Seattle Seahawks, 2009 Draft
American Football team Seattle Seahawks are known for generally making great picks in the NFL draft. So in the 2009 preseason, the team decided to go with a safe choice and picked Aaron Curry of Wake Forest. After all, the linebacker was a college standout, so this seemed like a great choice.
The honeymoon sadly didn’t last very long between Aaron and the Seahawks. After only three seasons, the player was already shipped out because he couldn’t live up to the expectations. Looking back, maybe the team management wished they had drafted Clay Matthews or Brian Cushing instead.
