Todd Marinovich – Los Angeles Raiders, 1991 Draft
Despite several warnings, the Los Angeles Raiders took a chance on Todd Marinovich and chose him as the 24th overall in the 1991 draft. Too bad Marinovich became more than they bargained for, and those warnings all came back and struck them hard.
Marinovich was always in hot water, had personal issues, and even had troubles with the law. On several occasions, he was apprehended for substance abuse violations, so the footballer ended up plummeting out of the league by May 1993, ending his career despite being initially selected as a star QB.
