It’s Hard To Forget These Biggest NFL Draft Busts

Matt Leinart – Arizona Cardinals, 2006 Draft

Although the media tagged Matt Leinart as an assertive runner during his quarterbacking days at USC Trojans, everything changed in the NFL. Matt’s shine didn’t continue to the big leagues when he got drafted by the Arizona Cardinals but primarily served as a backup.

Due to poor performance, the athlete was given an early release by the Cardinals that led him to sign with Houston Texans as a reserve. Indeed, Matt’s journey gets more dismal knowing that he was even a first-round pick in the drafts in 2006, proof that not everyone gets better upon reaching the pro leagues.
