Know When Not To Run
“Don’t go running today” sounds like terrible advice. However, joggers should restrain from running in some cases. The HalfMarathons.net website listed eight instances in which joggers should hold back from physical exercise and take a break.
These include injury, sickness, changes in heart rate, under-fueling, over-training, performance plateau (i.e., getting stuck at a particular training), problems sleeping, and… boredom! The message here is that joggers should watch for signs that their bodies are not apt for running or they are feeling physically/mentally stuck.
