Jog Safely
Jogging safety isn’t just about avoiding injury. When they don’t take precautions, joggers risk stepping in a hole or getting run over by a vehicle. To reduce the risk of jogging-related accidents, it’s important to run in a familiar area, preferably during daytime and while facing oncoming traffic.

For additional safety, the University of Southern California also recommends carrying an ID and wearing bright-colored clothes for increased visibility. Jogging with a friend (and away from extremely remote areas) is also advisable.
