A Lucky Rooster
Uh oh. The familiar tale of a chicken, a man, and an ax never ends well for the chicken. Or does it? In this illustration, it appears the rooster kept its life. Perhaps no matter how delicious poultry meat is, there’s always one person who doesn’t consider it food.
Interestingly, certain chickens have a friendly demeanor and can make great pets. As long the appropriate breed is selected and hand-tamed while they are still young chicks, anyone could have their lil lumberjack.
