The Know-it-all Corn

Some people can be condescending even when ignorant. This illustration is a good example of that. Acorns are not seeds but fruits or nuts of the oak tree. They contain seeds inside them that can grow into another oak.

The corn doesn’t realize it is being corrected and seems surprised the tree knows what it is. Maize was just domesticated about 10,000 years ago, and thinks it’s more knowledgeable than the oak that has been around for over 50 million years!
