Unlike what most foreigners think, Americans don’t just eat fast-food. And non-Americans have pointed out just how excellent and inventive American cuisine is!
In ancient and secular places like Asia and Europe, food is part of the tradition. To change the recipe would be considered wrong in many places, so there’s little to no innovation when it comes to food, at least outside the world of gourmet cuisine. In the U.S., though, so many different cultures and cooking habits have been brought together that Americans have started their own original food traditions. It turns out creating new flavors is all about changing the recipe!
It’s an excellent American quality, not only when it comes to food. Americans are experts at taking the best of two or more cultures and making it into something exciting and new. The U.S. is a cultural melting pot unlike anything we’ve ever seen, and we love it!
