It’s a little known fact about the U.S.: the country is extremely friendly for disabled people. Non-Americans who’ve visited have pointed out the considerable number of ramps and parking spots available for the disabled.
In a place where everybody is entitled to the same rights, it’s only logical that the disabled have fair access to stores, banks, and public buildings. But America takes it even further with Morgan’s Wonderland. Morgan’s Wonderland is a theme park in San Antonio, California, specially built for accommodating disabled people. Guests from all “ages and abilities” are welcome, and the park, founded in 2010, has already received over a million guests.
It all goes to show that you cannot accuse the USA of letting their own people down. In the land of the free, everybody has the right to have some fun, even if they happen to be in a wheelchair.
