A Single Mom And Her Daughter Thought They Bought A Cat, Until The Police Came Knocking On Their Door!

A Nocturnal Breed

A popular opinion about cats is that they are nocturnal. There is some truth to it, but that is not the entirety. Cats have different sleep-wake cycles. Although domesticated at some point, it is their instinct to hunt at night, which makes them more active at night and early in the morning.

But sometimes, there is more to a cat’s being awake and active at night than just a primitive instinct to hunt. At some point, it could also mean that they are bored, hungry, or even lonely, resulting in them jumping all over or nibbling at your toes.
