Ice caves are certainly part of the wonder and beauty of frosty regions. It’s no surprise they’ve become popular tourist destinations. This image shows the Dobšinská Ice Cave, a limestone cave located in the Slovak Paradise National Park in Slovakia.
This cave is known for its sizeable underground icy formations, created by water flowing through it and freezing in glacial temperatures. The site is open to visitors, and guided tours are available. We only hope global warming doesn’t melt them.
