Candy, 1968’s Top Psychedelic Film

The psychedelic style didn’t seem to fit the movies as well as it did with music. Still, the late ’60s were filled with cinematic psychedelic attempts, which include a bunch of far-out flicks such as The Trip, Head, or El Topo. One of the most popular was perhaps 1968’s Candy, a cult-film starring Swedish actress Ewa Haulin and Hollywood hunk Marlon Brando.

The movie was a satirical comedy which included some steamy scenes. It featured a bunch of other familiar faces, from actors Richard Burton and James Coburn to musicians like Ringo Starr and French singer Charles Aznavour.
