The Musical Talent of Linda Ronstadt
In this picture, the smile of a 29-years-old Linda Ronstadt was captured during a 1975 live show. Retired since 2011, due to a degenerative condition that prevents her from singing, Ronstadt is one of the most accomplished female musicians of the 20th century.
She was not only incredibly versatile, experimenting with genres going from rock and country to light opera, but she was very popular amongst critics and audiences alike. She collected ten Grammy Awards, released numerous multi-platinum records, and was nominated for a Golden Globe award.
