We loved Dot Cotton’s character in ‘EastEnders’ as the judgmental launderette worker who always had her nose in people’s business, and we have June Brown’s talent to thank for that. June was an original cast of the show since 1985 and kept us entertained until 2020 when she was lastly cast.
Her other acting projects have been in the rival ITV soap ‘Coronation Street,’ as well as ‘The Duchess of Duke Street’ among others. As you would have it, June rocked them all. While the veteran has revealed that she’d not be coming back on ‘EastEnders,’ we wouldn’t mind seeing her return in the future.
