This day was getting too crazy for Ashley’s taste. With the strange men in the cafe, the protest, and the stargazing student, what more was there to happen? Affected by all of these events, Ashley took a bath and changed her clothes, as if that would purge her from all the strangeness outside.
In the dorm, one of her colleagues started talking about her new $200 dress. Ashley couldn’t care less. She liked her modest clothes and she found many of her colleagues’ love for things despicable. Then, she felt that something ominous was coming, and she realized immediately she could no longer stay in her dorm room.
