Bed bugs are a homeowner’s nightmare. While their bites are painless initially, they can later give way to itchiness and inflamed spots. One Redditor shared his NYC bed-bug story with the world and clarified that he only lasted three days in an $800-per-month apartment riddled with nasty bugs.
As if things weren’t bad enough, one of his former roommates told him to take cold showers to ease the bites! That is not the best of suggestions, especially considering NYC can get extremely cold during the winter.
