Poohsticks: A Sport For the Whole Family
Winnie the Pooh author A.A. Milne introduced the world to Poohsticks in 1928. To play, competitors stand on a bridge and judge which direction the stream flows. Then, players drop their sticks, and whoever’s stick appears first is the winner.
Don’t throw the stick; it’s considered cheating! There are many different approaches, but strategists believe throwing sticks into the turbulence surrounding bridge supports is key to being the reigning champion.
