Quidditch started as a fictional sport in the Harry Potter book series but was quickly turned into a real competition. Unfortunately, technological advances keep it on the ground.
The sport is played much the same as the fictional version with three chasers, one keeper, two beaters, and one seeker. There are quaffles (a deflated volleyball) and a golden snitch (a tennis ball in a sock). The energy on the field is just as magical as the Quidditch matches in the movies.
