Nothing is more embarrassing than a missed dunk in the NBA. Glen Davis discovered this the hard way when he received a lot of criticism after missing a dunk even a semi-pro basketball player could make.
To be fair, the sequence before and after the miss was incredible. He stole the ball quickly and outraced everyone on the court before realizing his jump wasn’t enough, and his fingertips would hardly lift the ball to rim level. He must have thought about changing his nickname, as “big baby” doesn’t go too well with making such dunks.
