It’s Hard To Forget These Biggest NFL Draft Busts
Tony Mandarich – Green Bay Packers, 1989 Draft
Widely considered among the best offensive players during his college years, many people were betting on Tony Mandarich to become a star in the NFL. Chosen second overall by the Green Bay Packers, the young player was set to take the league by storm.
Sad to say, Mandarich lasted only three seasons with the Packers. With attitude problems affecting his game, he was released to be picked up by the Colts. Still, the new team didn’t work out for him, and he quit the sport altogether after two years. It certainly wasn’t the ending anyone expected.
